The music of Rick Canton touches me deeply. After a Near Death Experience in 1990, I found that I was drawn to sound in general and to music, specifically, in a very different way. I sought out that which engenders memories on a soul level and this is exactly what Rick's music does for me. The haunting melody lines feel both spontaneous and studied, present and transcendent, evoking a response of peace and tranquility. It is truely, lovely music.
